How dope is that new Major Lazer/Justin Bieber track "Cold Water"? Oh boo, you didn't hear it yet? What about Britney Spears' new song "Private Show"?
OK, the new Britney jam literally just dropped, so we won't hold it against you if you haven't checked it out yet. But it's about to get a lot easier to keep track of new music from your favorite artists, thanks to Spotify.
The music streaming giant just launched a new feature dubbed Release Radar—a personalized playlist that brings together all the new releases from the artists you love in one place, so you'll never miss a beat.
Rolling out today, just in time for your weekend festivities, Release Radar is located in the New Releases for You section of Spotify's Discover on mobile apps and desktop.
Spotify promised to update the playlist every Friday with up to two hours of "the newest drops from the artists you follow and listen to the most, sprinkled in with some new discoveries based on your recent listening habits."
Release Radar will also evolve as you do. Like Spotify's other personalized playlists, the more you listen, the better it will get at knowing your favorite artists and predicting new jams you'll like.
"With the huge amount of new music released every week, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest tracks," Spotify Senior Product Owner Matt Ogle said in a statement. "With Release Radar, we wanted to create the simplest way for you to find all the newly released music that matters the most to you, in one playlist."
