Adobe Launches Photoshop Sketch, Fix, and Comp CC for Android

...

Adobe launched three new apps for Android users this week, bringing more of its Creative Cloud functionality to mobile users. Aimed at folks who enjoy shooting pictures then editing to their heart’s content, Photoshop Sketch and Photoshop Fix are perfect for digital artists and photographers on the go. Evening out the launch is Comp CC, the company’s wireframe, layout, and mockup software.

Photoshop Fix is pretty self explanatory, granting users the ability to retouch and restore photos on an Android phone. With the software, users can tweak facial features, liquify, heal & patch, plus use plenty of other tools. To use the app, you will need to have an Adobe account, but that’s free to use if you are only using mobile. Naturally, if you want to connect all of your Adobe work from mobile to desktop, you will need a Creative Cloud account.

The other Photoshop app launched is Photoshop Sketch. With this app, animators and illustrators can access 11 tools with adjustable options, such as size, color, opacity, and blending. Essentially, it should be the perfect app for folks who need access to drawing while on the go. Just like Fix, a CC account will allow users to transfer work from one device to the other.

For Comp CC, mobile graphic designers using Android can access prebuilt pages for the web and smart devices, letting you tap into your creative juices. The app comes with loads of guides and gestures for mapping anything you might need, making the mobile experience for Comp very straightforward.

On top of these new apps, Photoshop Mix received an update to support Android tablets.
