Pre-Order Motorola's Moto G4, G4 Plus

...

Motorola's next-gen Moto G smartphone is available now to pre-order.

B&H is selling unlocked versions of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus for $200 to $300, plus a $50 gift card.

Both 6-inch handsets sport the same 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1,920-by-1,080 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3, as well as the Snapdragon 617 processor and 3,000 mAh battery. Thinner than its G3 predecessor, the new phone also comes with a TurboPower battery booster for up to eight hours of usage from 15 minutes of charging.

And while they both boast a 5-megapixel front shooter, the standard Moto G4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, versus the G4 Plus's 16-megapixel cam.

The G4 Plus, meanwhile, offers a fingerprint sensor for added security and access where the basic edition does not.

Each comes out of the box with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and a microSDXC memory card slot. Customers, however, can choose from different colors (white or black) and storage sizes.

Pre-order the 16GB Moto G4 for $199.99 or 32GB version for $229.99; the Moto G4 Plus is available in 16GB for $249.99 or 64GB for $299.99.

Motorola unveiled its fourth-generation Moto G smartphone in May, alongside two new handsets designed for all-day usage and better photography.

The Moto G and Moto G Plus are already on sale in Brazil and India; both versions are expected soon in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

Another Motorola handset, the Moto G Play, runs a clutter-free version of Android on a quad-core processor, also comes with a 2,800 mAh battery. It will arrive globally later this summer.
