T-Mobile Offers Free, Unlimited Data in Europe This Summer

...

Traveling to Europe this summer? If you're a T-Mobile customer, you shouldn't have to worry about data.

The self-proclaimed "un-carrier" is giving customers unlimited high-speed data, up to 4G LTE speeds, throughout Europe this summer (with the exception of Andorra), at no additional cost. The offer is available from July 1 through Aug. 31.

And it's not stopping there — those traveling this weekend can take advantage of a free hour of Wi-Fi on all Gogo-equipped domestic flights. The offer is open to everyone, not just T-Mobile customers, and will be available this Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26.

Finally, T-Mobile also today announced that Belize will be part of its Simple Global plan starting July 1. With Simple Global, T-Mobile Simple Choice customers get unlimited data and texting, plus flat-rate calling (20 cents a minute) while traveling abroad in more than 140 countries and destinations.

The addition of Belize means Simple Choice customers can now travel to all 20 countries in South and Central America (and throughout Europe) without worrying about getting hit with insane roaming and texting charges.

"The carriers see your summer trip as the perfect occasion to slam you with insane international roaming charges. When you travel with the Un-carrier, you'll never come home to surprise overages or crazy fees," T-Mobile President and CEO John Legere said in a statement. "Travel with T-Mobile, and you can use your phone the way you want to without thinking twice! Share every fantastic moment and don't pay a penny more for your data!"
