3 New Moto G Phones Coming 'Soon'

...

Motorola today unveiled its next-gen Moto G smartphone, alongside two new handsets designed for all-day usage and better photography.

"Smartphones should focus on technology that prioritizes the things people really care about," the company said in an announcement.

Those things, according to Motorola, include a 5.5-inch full HD display, 13-megapixel camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and octacore processor—all available in the fourth-generation Moto G. Thinner than its predecessor, the device also comes with a TurboPower battery booster for six hours of power in 15 minutes.

"And because we know people are unique and use their phones differently, we added two new members to the family," Motorola said.

Boasting all the same features as the Moto G, the Moto G Plus adds a little something extra: a 16-megapixel camera with laser focus and phase detect autofocus for sharp, clear photos, day or night. It also features a fingerprint reader to instantly access your phone and authorize purchases in the Google Play store.

Motorola also revealed the Moto G Play, which runs a clutter-free version of Android on a quad-core processor, with a 2,800 mAh battery.

The Moto G and Moto G Plus are available now in Brazil; the Plus is also on sale in India. Both versions will arrive "soon" in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. The Moto G Play will arrive globally later this summer. Individual pricing and launch dates were not announced.
